The Yakuza games are now available DRM-free on GOG at a steep discount

The Yakuza games have become very popular in the west over the last few years. Once considered a cult classic, the series now has a huge global fan base but it can be intimidating for a newcomer to jump in. If you want to pick up all the games in one place at a pretty big discount, then you'll want to hit up GOG.

The Yakuza games are now officially available DRM-free on PC through GOG. To celebrate the occasion, you can pick up the Yakuza Complete Series collection on GOG at a 70% discount, bringing the price down to just £27.19.

The collection includes seven Yakuza games focusing on the Kiryu saga. You'll get Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami 1 & 2 (these are remakes of the original two games), as well as the Remastered versions of Yakuza 3, 4 and 5. Finally, the collection also includes Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, which was the last game starring Kiryu as the main character.

The collection does not include Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon, which stars a whole new cast of characters and switches from action-based combat to turn-based combat.

KitGuru Says: The nice thing about GOG is that with DRM-free games, you'll be guaranteed access to these titles for decades to come, without fear of service shutdowns or delisting. If you want a more modern gaming experience, the GOG Galaxy launcher can help you manage your collection and installed games.
