Palworld update brings crossplay for PC, PS5 and Xbox

At this point, Palworld is available across all of the major platforms, minus the Nintendo Switch. However, crossplay hasn't been universally available across all platforms. That is finally changing with a new patch this week.

With this week's Palworld update, players can now group up from across platforms, whether its PC, PS5 or Xbox. On top of that, the game has introduced a Global Palbox, so you can store your captured Pals and transfer them between worlds. To encourage players to participate in guilds, members of a guild can now access a new Dimensional Pal Storage box that includes 10-times the space of a regular Palbox.

The new update also brings improvements to photo mode, and new cosmetic items so you can transmogify your gear into a cohesive set of clothing.

While not included in this update, Pocketpair has also mentioned plans to bring dedicated servers to the PS5 version of Palworld. Currently, the game only operates on peer-to-peer networks and community-hosted servers.
