New PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games announced for February 2026

As expected, last night shortly before the State of Play showcase went live, Sony revealed this month's new batch of games for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. Just as leaks predicted, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is the headlining game, but there are many others to look forward to as well.

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 launched in 2023, five years after the breakout success of Insomniac's original Spider-Man game and three years after the smaller standalone game, Miles Morales. While this sequel was very well received, it wasn't quite as beloved as the original, in part due to a lot of forced character and perspective switching throughout the campaign. Still, it has some incredible highlight moments and fans of the original will want to play the sequel in preparation for Spider-Man 3.

The full list of titles joining PlayStation Plus Extra this month includes:

  • Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PS5
  • Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown PS5
  • Neva PS5, PS4
  • Season: A Letter to the Future PS5, PS4
  • Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin PS4
  • Monster Hunter Stories PS4
  • Venba PS5
  • Echoes of the End: Enhanced Edition PS5
  • Rugby 25 PS5, PS4

And finally, PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also get access to one new classic game – Disney Pixar's Wall-E.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
