Sony reveals new PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games for September

Sony has announced September’s new batch of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium titles. This month’s update brings a mix of brand‑new releases and recent favourites, including RuneScape: Dragonwilds, a fresh spin‑off set in the long‑running RuneScape universe, and Sniper Elite: Resistance, which arrives on the service just over a year after launch.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds is one of the standout additions. Rather than a traditional MMO, Dragonwilds is a newly released co‑op survival game built around the RuneScape setting, where players team up to survive roaming dragons and ultimately challenge the dragon queen. Sniper Elite: Resistance also joins the catalogue, the latest entry in Rebellion’s tactical shooter series, released earlier back in 2025 but will now be available to PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers at no additional cost.
