Blizzard kicks off World of Warcraft: The War Within Season One with new content

A new era for World of Warcraft was ushered in this summer with the launch of The War Within, the first in a trilogy of expansions telling a new story involving Titans and The Old Gods. The expansion already got off to a great start, but now, seasonal content is starting to roll in, including a new Raid and Mythic Dungeons.

The War Within Season One has officially begun. Currently, players can access the new Raid on Normal and Heroic difficulties, with LFR Wing 1 available. On top of that, there are new Mythic Dungeons to grind through with your squad.

In Delves, you can now progress past Tier 4 and a new Delve has been added to the game. Those who enjoy PvP will also be pleased with the new Arena and Battleground season, as well as the addition of ranked solo queue. New PvP transmog sets have also been added, so if your into the fashion game in WoW, you'll want to get grinding.

Later in the month, players will get to take on the raid once again with Mythic difficulty, and dungeons will be upgraded to Mythic+ difficulty, then on the 24th of September, LFR Wing 3 will be added for the raid.

The new raid added for The War Within takes place in the Nerub-AR Palace, and includes eight bosses to take down. The number of Mythic+ dungeons has also expanded to include City of Echoes, City of Threads, The Dawnbreaker, The Stonevault, Mists of Tirna Scithe, The Necrotic Wake, Siege of Boralus and Grim Batol.

KitGuru Says: I have been hooked back into WoW with The War Within, although I'm not sure I'm ready to take on a Mythic+ raid yet. Have any of you been playing through the latest expansion? What do you think of it so far?
