Capcom Spotlight showcase coming next week

Sony's most recent State of Play showcase gave us a mixed bag. Suicide Squad's gameplay reveal was a huge letdown, but Capcom's portion of the stream delivered, with new trailers for Street Fighter 6 and Resident Evil 4 Remake. Now, Capcom has announced a showcase of its own, with the Capcom Spotlight set to air next week.

Capcom Spotlight will go live on YouTube on the 9th of March at 10:30PM GMT. Capcom says it will share “updates and new information” about upcoming games during the stream.

More specifically, the stream will have updates on Resident Evil 4 Remake, which is due to launch later this month, as well as Exoprimal, Monster Hunter Rise, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection and Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective.

Judging by the wording of the announcement, it doesn't look like we can expect a major new game reveal, so don't expect Monster Hunter World 2 or something akin to Capcom's Dragon's Dogma 2 reveal last year. Major reveals will likely be saved for summer events, like E3, Summer Games Fest and Gamescom.

KitGuru Says: With Resident Evil 4 being part of this stream, I think we can expect a demo announcement for the game. Will you be tuning in to watch this?
