Xbox Game Pass has had some major launches over the years, but very few of those have been exclusive to PC. At this point, Microsoft Flight Simulator seems to be the biggest success story for Game Pass on PC so far, with the launch drawing in over one million players.
Microsoft Flight Simulator launched on August 18th across Steam, the Microsoft Store and of course, Xbox Game Pass for PC. The Game Pass version alone has garnered over one million players so far, all of which have collectively embarked on over 26 million flights.
The longest flight to date has clocked in at 10.39 hours, travelling over 7,623 kilometres. In total, pilots on Game Pass have flown over 1.1 billion miles across Microsoft’s recreation of Earth. If you wanted to know the most popular airport so far, that would be John F. Kennedy International in New York.
Now the key for Microsoft will be keeping those players engaged and subscribed to Game Pass, something that could be achieved with new updates and DLCs.
