Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name gets November release date

Just last week Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG Studio) announced that they would be hosting a 2023 Summer Summit on the 16th of June in which we would get information on the team’s new and upcoming projects. Despite this, the studio made an appearance during Summer Game Fest Kick Off, showing off and announcing the release date of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.

Releasing a meaty story-focused trailer, RGG Studio officially announced the release date for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name – the 9th of November 2023. In addition to the story beats, the trailer showed off a decent amount of gameplay, putting focus on this entry’s use of real time combat as well as new bombastic combo moves.

The trailer itself was voiced entirely in Japanese, and while recent Like a Dragon games have offered multiple dubbed languages, it is unknown currently whether Gaiden will include such an option.

Regardless, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name looks set to be another fun hit from RGG studio. Hopefully we get to see even more at the upcoming 2023 RGG Summer Summit.

KitGuru says: What do you think of the trailer? Are you excited for Like a Dragon Gaiden? Do you prefer the series’ turn-based or real time combat more? Let us know down below.
