Dataminers get hold of Killing Floor 3, 2XKO and more

A group of dataminers on Discord have caused quite a stir in the games industry this week. People have been able to find early builds for a number of unreleased games, as well as pre-release versions of currently available titles.

As reported by Insider Gaming, this datamining group has so far uploaded early builds of Killing Floor 3 and Riot Games' upcoming fighting game, 2XKO. Other notable builds found on the server include PlayerUnknown Prologue, ARC Raiders and a pre-release build of Delta Force.

As these builds are available for datamining purposes, there will likely be many leaks. Publishers will no doubt be investigating the source of these leaks and looking to snuff out any attempt to leak the builds to a wider audience.

KitGuru Says: We'll have to wait and see what comes of this but with Riot's title 2XKO being involved here, I could see them exploring legal avenues to keep leaks at bay. The long-awaited League of Legends fighting game is currently in playtesting, with plans to release later this year.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
