Delta Force is getting a full single-player campaign this month

Delta Force has been off to a good start since its launch in December. The Battlefield-inspired free-to-play shooter launched to positive reception in December with the game's multiplayer mode. Now, the game's ambitious Black Hawk Down campaign is also ready for its time in the spotlight.

The Black Hawk Down co-op campaign for Delta Force was delayed, giving the developers more time to polish it up. The campaign will launch on the 21st of February for PC, with a console release scheduled for later in the year.

The campaign can be played entirely solo, or in co-op. Players can expect to see scenes reminiscent of Ridley Scott's movie, Black Hawk Down, as well as call backs to the classic Delta Force campaigns from the 90s.

The campaign will eventually come to the Xbox and PlayStation versions of Delta Force. Additionally, a mobile version is also planned, which makes sense, as the developer, Timi, has also worked on Call of Duty Mobile.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
