iTunes 11 to get major revamp: iCloud integration

iTunes 11 is to get a total overhaul, according to a source close to idownloadblog.com. According to the report, the user interface is due to receive a total overhaul with deeper iCloud integration.

They say that the new Apple interface will be cleaner and ‘slick' and that iCloud is going to be linked much closer to iTunes. According to the unnamed source, the iTunes store will adopt a Spotify strategy. Apple have also changed the backup system, with a backup being stored both locally and online.

Gamers will also be happy to hear that the new system should allow for game level data to be backed up, Meaning that in game progression won't be lost.

Of course none of this has been confirmed, but idownloadblog.com claim they have a reliable source who has passed over this information to them directly.
