Nintendo Switch Online Playtest details leak despite NDA

Last week, Nintendo announced plans for a mysterious Switch Online Test Program, inviting players to participate under the condition of an NDA. Since then, someone has managed to secure an invite and promptly leaked what the test includes.

The Switch Online Playtest program, running from October 24th until the 6th of November, appears to be for an MMO, in which players explore and build across a massive planet.

The planet will have multiple biomes, enemies to be wary of and resources to farm in order to further your adventure. Exactly what this game is called still remains to be confirmed.

Given that details are already leaking, it shouldn't take too long to learn more when the playtest gets under way. However, do be warned, Nintendo tends to be pretty litigious and doesn't take kindly to leaks in general.

KitGuru Says: There is still more to learn, but with leaks having already begun, I expect we'll hear more in the week ahead, whether Nintendo has an NDA in place or not.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
