Astro Bot is getting a new level each week until mid November

Astro Bot has already set records as one of the most-played 3D platformers outside of Nintendo's Super Mario series. The game is one of the highest-rated games of the year but the developers aren't finished with the game just yet, with plans for even more content.

Astro Bot, developed by Team Asobi and released exclusively on PS5, is due to get its first DLC soon. Rather than releasing a pack of new levels all at once, the studio is rolling out one new level per week, including new cameos from characters in other PlayStation exclusive games.

We already know to expect appearances from Stellar Blade and Helldivers in new Astro Bot levels. However, Team Asobi is hoping to keep the other remaining cameos as a surprise as the new levels roll out each week.

There will be five new DLC levels coming to Astro Bot in total, with one coming out each week leading up to November 14th, at which point all of the new levels will be available. It is unclear if there will be another round of levels in early 2025, but given the game's current popularity, it would be a shame to not see a bit more support when the calendar year turns over.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
