You can restore Frank West’s 2006 look if you pre-order Dead Rising Deluxe

While the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster might look like a huge graphical upgrade, some fans were quick to notice just how different the main character, Frank West, looks in the new version of the game. While in the original Dead Rising Frank was a younger character, he is shown to be significantly older in this new version. Fans who want the classic Frank West look will have to pre-order or miss out.

The Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is now available to pre-order across console and PC. The pre-order bonus this time around is a pair of ‘classic' skins for Frank West and Chuck Greene, restoring each character's original 2006 appearance.

If you have followed Dead Rising over the years, then changes to Frank West's appearance shouldn't be too surprising. Capcom made a number of changes to the character design after the first game, with following iterations each looking slightly different. In many ways, Frank West in the 2024 remaster looks how we would expect Frank West 2006 to look in the current year.

While fans aren't kicking up a storm over the pre-order skin, fans have expressed disappointment in the fact that the original voice actor for Frank West was not called to return for the remaster.

Dead Rising Deluxe launches in September for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
