Larian is already working on two new projects

Larian has already confirmed that it won't be working on another Baldur's Gate game, or any expansions for Baldur's Gate 3. Instead, the studio will be focusing on other projects, with two new games on the way, which studio founder, Swen Vincke, claims to be Larian's “best work ever”.

Given the success of Baldur's Gate 3, the news that Larian will be moving on is a surprise. However, it has been reported that the studio butted heads with Wizards of the Coast, the license holder, which is now searching for a new studio to partner with for future Baldur's Gate games.

Larian has gone from strength to strength over the years, with Divinity Original Sin 1&2 both garnering high praise. With Baldur's Gate 3, the studio took things to a whole new level, winning many Game of the Year awards and selling millions of copies across PC and console.

Larian is now working on two new “big and ambitious” games, as reported by Eurogamer. At the end of the most recent developer update for Baldur's Gate 3, the studio's founder, Swen Vincke, added a message saying that the projects the teams are working on now are their “best work ever”. We don't know when Larian will officially announce its next game, and it is too soon to tell if it will release in Early Access form first like the company's previous games.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
