Nintendo Indie World Showcase returns tomorrow

While Nintendo has no plans to take part in Gamescom this year, the company will continue to host its own Direct showcases for new game announcements. The next Nintendo Direct has just been announced, focusing on upcoming Indie games heading to the Switch.

The Nintendo Indie World Showcase returns tomorrow, the 17th of April, at 3PM UK time. As this stream is immediately following on from last week's Triple I showcase, we anticipate that some of the games shown there will appear again during this showcase to properly announce Switch support.

The biggest expectation here is Hollow Knight: Silksong, which has once again appeared in rumours this week after new classification ratings came to light. Classification boards typically rate media products within months of a release, so the long-awaited Hollow Knight follow-up shouldn't be too far off at this stage.

This Indie World Showcase stream will be available to watch live on YouTube as usual, with the stream set to last around 20 minutes.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
