Ubisoft is shutting down online services for ten legacy titles

Every few years, we see publishers shutting down online support for legacy titles. Ubisoft is no different, announcing the next wave of titles set to have their online services revoked in January 2024. 

On the 25th of January, Ubisoft will be “decommissioning” online support for ten older titles, covering a mix of Xbox 360 and PS3 titles, a MAC game and several PC releases. This includes franchises like Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon and Heroes of Might and Magic.

As noted in the most recent self help article on the Ubisoft website, the following games will no longer have access to online services starting on the 25th of January:

• Assassin's Creed II (Xbox 360)
• Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (Mac)
• Assassin's Creed Liberation HD (Xbox 360, PS3)
• Assassin's Creed Revelations (PC)
• Ghost Recon Future Soldier (PC)
• Heroes of Might and Magic VI (PC)
• NCSI (PC)
• Splinter Cell: Conviction (Xbox 360)
• R.U.S.E. (PC)
• Trials Evolution (PC)

In all cases, you will no longer be able to play multiplayer in these titles or link your Ubisoft account to claim benefits or access other online features.
