Resident Evil 4 Remake’s Mercenaries Mode characters and more leak

Following the highly successful launch of the Resident Evil 4 Remake it was revealed that the game is set to get the much-loved Mercenaries mode in just a few short weeks. Ahead of its availability however, characters and models for the mode have leaked, revealing alternate skins and more.

As discovered by Gosetsu and then shared by Twitter page ‘Resident Evil Central’ a number of characters and costumes for the upcoming Mercenaries mode (going live on the 7th of April) have leaked, showcasing the models themselves as well as a bunch of alternate skins.

As can be seen from the pictures, you will be able to play as Ada Wong; Leon S. Kennedy; Wesker; Hunk; Luis and Krauser. From the images shared, we can also see some of the alternate costumes being made available, namely Ada in a red and black dress and Leon in a mobster-inspired pinstripe suit.

It is currently unknown whether like in past Mercenaries modes, the alternate skins will act as their own characters with separate gear or not. Fortunately, we won’t have long to wait in order to find out, as The Mercenaries Mode is set to launch on the 7th of April.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
