Two Ubisoft games are coming to Xbox Game Pass in June

Ubisoft revealed plans to ramp up its efforts on Xbox Game Pass earlier this year, bringing Rainbow Six Extraction to the service as a day-one title. In June, more Ubisoft titles will be heading to Game Pass, ahead of a new Ubisoft+ subscription offering.

On the 1st of June, For Honor: Marching Fire Edition will join Xbox Game Pass and later in the month, on the 7th of June, Assassin's Creed Origins will join the library. Assassin's Creed Origins is joining at a good time too, as the game is also about to get a 60FPS patch for Xbox Series X and PS5.

Ubisoft has also announced plans to bring Ubisoft+ to Xbox, although further details have not been revealed. Recently, Ubisoft did reveal Ubisoft+ Classics, which will be included with the new premium PS+ subscription tiers on PlayStation consoles, so it seems likely that we'll see similar integration on Xbox over the summer.

Later this year, Ubisoft will also have new announcements for upcoming games, including release dates for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Skull & Bones, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and a new Assassin's Creed game.

KitGuru Says: Ubisoft seems to be having a slow year, so it makes sense to try and rejuvenate back catalogue games this year by making bets on subscription services.
