ASUS ROG Strix LC all-in-one liquid coolers are on the way

Last year, we saw ASUS enter the all-in-one liquid cooler market with the ROG Ryuo and ROG Ryujin CPU coolers. This year, the ROG Strix LC AIO will be joining the family, adding a lower cost option in 120mm and 240mm form factors.

We had our first peek at the ROG Strix LC all-in-one liquid cooler during CES in January. The Strix LC strips back on a couple of features, forgoing the customisable ‘Dash' OLED display on the CPU block and replacing it with a simpler RGB-lit logo. The CPU block is also different, with Asus opting for a circular block/pump combo unit.

The ROG Strix LC AIO cooler will be available with a 120mm radiator or a 240mm radiator. In both cases, you will be getting a copper-plated CPU block and RGB effects powered by Asus Aura. The unit uses rubber tubing with braided sleeving, while the radiators will be equipped with ROG Ryuo fans that run between 800 and 2,500 RPM.

CPU compatibility hits a wide range, including AMD's AM4 and TR4 sockets, alongside all of the usual Intel options, including LGA115x, 1366, 2011-v3 and 2066. We don't have exact pricing or retail availability information just yet but we'll update this story as soon as we have more details.

KitGuru Says: Asus certainly knows how to make a good looking product, now we'll just have to wait and see what reviews have to say.
