Corsair launches Vanguard Air 99 keyboard with Stream Deck integration

Corsair has introduced the Vanguard Air 99 Wireless, a low‑profile 99% gaming keyboard built around the company’s OPX optical switches and a slim 18mm chassis.

The Vanguard Air 99 Wireless uses Corsair’s low‑profile OPX optical switches, which actuate at 1.5mm and register inputs using infrared light to eliminate debounce delay. The switches are paired with 8000Hz hyper‑polling in both wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes. Connectivity is tri‑mode, supporting Slipstream Wireless V2, Bluetooth and USB‑A.

On paper, build quality looks to be solid, with PBT double-shot keycaps, gasket mounting, pre-lubed switches and five layers of sound dampening to reduce unwanted clicks and clacks. It even comes with an integrated LCD screen for monitoring system stats and settings.

As part of the Stream Deck ecosystem, the Vanguard Air 99 Wireless includes six programmable SD‑keys that can trigger actions, macros or app controls through the Elgato software. Users can map in‑game commands, automate workflows or manage creative tools without leaving their current application. The keyboard also supports Virtual Stream Deck, enabling custom on‑screen shortcut menus that can be summoned with a single keypress.

The Corsair Vanguard Air 99 Wireless is now available in black and white colour options, priced at £239.99.
