Razer brings Sensa HD Haptics to the Kraken V4

Razer is expanding its Sensa HD Haptics lineup once again, this time bringing the technology to one of its most popular headsets – the Kraken V4. 

The Kraken V4 X Sensa HD Haptics Edition integrates Razer’s haptic system for PC peripherals. Typically, PC gamers who rely on mouse and keyboard miss out on the haptic feedback features present in many console controllers. Razer has been trying to change that with its Sensa HD Haptics system, which is now supported in over 100 PC games. Currently, Sensa HD Haptics can be found in headsets and chair cushions, but it could expand further eventually. The new Kraken V4 X Sensa HD Edition headset is currently the most cost-effective way to experience it.

Beyond haptics, the headset includes Razer’s TriForce 40mm drivers for clearer separation between highs, mids and lows, alongside 7.1 virtual Surround Sound for positional audio. Comms are handled by a HyperClear Cardioid microphone, tuned to reduce background noise and prioritise vocal clarity.

Comfort remains a focus too. The Kraken V4 X Sensa HD Haptics Edition uses FlowKnit Memory Foam cushions and breathable fabric to reduce heat build‑up during longer sessions. Razer Chroma RGB is also included, offering lighting customisation with 16.8 million colours and reactive effects.

The Razer Kraken V4 X Sensa HD Haptics Edition launches at £99.99 / $99.99 / €109.99, with full support for both Windows gaming PCs and SteamOS.
