Respawn Entertainment has been quietly working on a Star Wars strategy game for a few years now in collaboration with Bit Reactor, a studio founded by former XCOM developers. Now, a number of screenshots have leaked online, giving us an early look at the game. 

Aside from the Star Wars Jedi games, Respawn has been hard at work on a few other Star Wars-related projects. Unfortunately, Respawn's planned Star Wars shooter, reportedly based on The Mandalorian, has been cancelled. However, the company's Star Wars strategy game is still on the way. 

EA announced a wave of layoffs and game cancellations last week. Respawn Entertainment was one of the studios impacted, with its first-person Star Wars shooter scrapped.
