Apple Desktop orders go to Pegatron Technology

Pegatron Technology are a Taiwan notebook maker and our sources today tell us that they may have landed a deal with Apple to get a portion of their desktop orders. They recently lost a portion of the MacBook production partnership with Apple which hit them hard. This information has been confirmed by Digitimes a few hours ago.

Pegatron Technology are a spin off manufacturing division of Asustek Computers and their revenues have drooped 19% from this time last year, due in part by declining orders from Asustek themselves.

KitGuru says: Pegatron in June shipped around 1.5 million motherboards and desktop systems as well as 1.2 million notebooks and 340,000 graphics cards. Company revenues have grown around 20 percent from last year reaching NT$208.02 billion.
