Corsair launches Carbide SPEC-Alpha mid-tower case

Corsair is well-known in the PC hardware world for its cases and today, the company is switching things up a bit with a bold new angular design for the Carbide SPEC-Alpha case. This is a mid-tower case packed with features to make builds clean with plenty of airflow for cooling.

The design is really what makes the SPEC-Alpha stand out from the crowd but it has a lot to offer on the inside as well, including mounts for four SSDs, a three-speed fan controller for the three included 120mm fans, a ‘Direct Airflow' path thanks to the removal of traditional drive bays and plenty of space for liquid cooling upgrades.

The side panel comes with a large window to show off your build and there are plenty of cable cut outs and tie down points so that you can keep your wiring looking clean. Drive installation is tool-free, there is 240mm radiator support in the front of the case and there is native USB 3.0 support for modern PCs.

The SPEC-Alpha comes in black and red, black and grey and white and red colour options and will cost $79.99 in the US and £69.99 in the UK.

KitGuru Says: This is certainly a new approach for Corsair as far as the design goes. Are any of you shopping around for a new PC case? Are you thinking of going with Corsair?
