Asus release Android 4.2 update for Transformer Pad 300

Asus have announced that there is an over the air update for their Transformer Pad 300 in America. The update will reach other countries later this month.

The update fixes bugs and delivers performance gains and some new features. The tablet version of Android 4.2 includes multiple user account logins.

Asus plan on sending out an update for other tablets in their range in Q2, including the Pad Infinity, MeMO Pad Smart 10 and MeMO Pad.

Publications reported at the Mobile World Congress event that the new Asus devices such as the Fonepad and PadFone Infinity were running the older Android 4.1.2. No one is sure if they will get the 4.2 update before release in a couple of weeks time.
