Kolink launched its Levante chassis at the start of the month, packing in four pre-installed RGB fans. Mesh fronts aren’t for everyone however, which is where Kolink’s new Horizon case comes in, featuring full tempered glass panels on the front and the side for £72.95.

The styling of Kolink’s new case is reminiscent of InWin’s celebrated 805 chassis, opting for vertical strokes on its brushed aluminium I/O panel rather than horizontal. Kolink backs its glass-clad aesthetic with four pre-installed 120mm dual ring RGB LED fans, ensuring that both sides of each fan is lit up rather than the traditional single side. The included RGB hub controller connects up to six fans, accessible via the I/O panel next to the power button, two USB 3.0 ports, a single USB 2.0 port and the usual HD Audio and Mic-in ports.

While Kolink ships the Horizon case with three 120mm dual ring RGB fans filling the front and a single fan at the rear, there’s space for a further two at the top and two at the bottom, making for eight 120mm fans in total. Each fan draws in air discreetly through intake vents located around the slightly curved edges. Watercooling enthusiasts have room for a 360mm radiator at the front and another 120mm radiator at the rear, enabling users to watercool both the GPU and the CPU simultaneously.

The Horizon has plenty of space for ATX motherboards, of course making the case compatible with micro-ATX and micro-ITX by proxy. Graphics cards up to 345mm will fit just fine, while CPU air coolers will be capped at a height of 155mm.

Kolink has tried to make installation as painless as possible, removing the need for tools where possible. The tempered glass side panel can be removed via thumb screws, revealing space for up to five 2.5-inch SATA-based solid state drives, or two 3.5-inch HDDs. The power supply unit is unsurprisingly mounted at the bottom of the case, restricted to 240mm or under.

KitGuru Says: Although a little derivative, Kolink couldn’t have chosen better inspiration as the InWin 805 is a marvel. Sadly, the Horizon will likely suffer from fingerprints just as the 805 does, however this isn’t too much of a problem once set up and polished up. What do you think of the Kolink Horizon?
