Powercolor HD6870 Eyefinity released

Powercolor have been releasing some brilliant video cards in the last year, and the latest announcement comes in the form of the Radeon HD6870 Eyefinity 6 Edition graphics card.

Specifications are set to 900mhz on the core, with the 2GB of GDDR5 memory running on a 256 bit memory interface, operating at 4200mhz. The 2GB of memory will appeal to a wide audience wanting to increase the eye candy during their gaming sessions. As with many of the latest cards, this model will feature a custom cooler with a central fan. It requires two 6 pin PCI-Express connectors to operate.

The main talking point however is the fact that the card features six mini DisplayPort outputs.
