EKWB is continuing to roll out new and updated D-RGB enabled products, this time around the company has launched the EK-Quantum Vector Strix RX 5700 +XT D-RGB water block for Asus ROG Strix versions of the AMD Radeon RX 5700 and 5700 XT graphics cards.

The new EK-Quantum Vector Strix RX 5700 +XT adds another D-RGB enabled water block to the EKWB range. The new water block provides a full cover solution that cools the GPU core, VRAM and the VRM MOSFETS on Asus ROG Strix 5700 and 5700 XT graphics cards, to ensure all critical areas of the GPU have temperature levels kept under control. Since this product is from the EK Vector range, it includes addressable 5V D-RGB LEDs for enhanced visual customisation.

EK’s new range of Vector GPU blocks feature a redesigned cooling engine with a larger footprint to the previous version. The base of the new water block is manufactured from high-grade nickel-plated electrolytic copper, while the top portion is available in either a high-quality acrylic or black POM Acetal finish with EPDM rubber O-rings ensuring the block is sealed from leaks.

D-RGB lighting covers the whole top portion of acrylic covered blocks while the Acetal version has RGB lighting implemented in an opaque section on the end of the block. A special terminal block cover is included in both versions which is also lit up with addressable D-RGB lighting and identifies the model of the card.

In addition to the new EK-Quantum Vector Strix RX 5700 +XT water block, EK has launched new backplates for the ROG Strix RX 5700 and 5700 XT cards. The backplates are CNC machined from black anodised or nickel-plated aluminium and unlike factory backplates, the EK ones cover the entire length of the PCB, to provide passive cooling for the voltage regulation modules on the rear.

The EK-Quantum Vector Strix RX 5700 +XT D-RGB blocks and backplates are available for pre-order through the EK Webshop and official EK distributor outlets. The acrylic version will start shipping on 18th of December 2019! With the Acetal version of the water block being available later on 28^th December. Prices start from €141.07 for Acetal and €146.11 for Acrylic. The new backplates are also available for pre-order starting at €33.18.
