Discord Nitro now includes access to Game Pass

Last month, leaks pointed towards a new Game Pass ‘Starter Edition' tier becoming available, potentially tied in with Discord Nitro. Now weeks later, Game Pass Starter Edition has become an official product.

Starting from today, Discord users who subscribe to the Nitro membership will also get access to Game Pass Starter Edition, a smaller library of 50 titles for PC and console.

Some of the games in the Game Pass Starter Edition library include Fallout 4, Deep Rock Galactic, Overcooked 2 and Grounded. The starter edition also includes ten-hours of cloud gaming per month, so you can stream a title to something like a laptop, phone or tablet when you can't play at your regular set-up.

A Discord Nitro subscription currently costs £7.99 per month in the UK, while a PC Game Pass subscription costs £13.49 per month. However, on PC Game Pass, you do get added benefits such as access to day-one first-party games, and access to a much larger library.
