With Sony opening up to supporting the PC platform more and more, many of us wondered if the PlayStation VR2 headset would support PCs when it launched. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. However, that may change soon, as Sony has begun testing PC compatibility. 

The PlayStation VR2 headset offers a 4K OLED 120Hz display and new DualSense VR controllers. It has been available for PS5 consoles for a while now at a high £550 price point, making it more expensive than the PS5 console.

On the PlayStation Blog today, Sony confirmed that it is “currently testing the ability for PS VR2 players to access additional games on PC to offer even more game variety. This would essentially make it a PC VR headset, allowing owners with a capable gaming PC to experience non PSVR titles like Half-Life: Alyx.

If this does go ahead, then we may start to see more PSVR titles also launching on PC as Sony continues its efforts to boost profits from the PlayStation branch, which has dwindled in recent years.
