Just a few weeks ago, Playground Games shot down a report claiming that Forza Horizon 6 wouldn't come to PS5 until 2027. Now shortly after that denial, it appears that the delay is now official.
Bilbil-kun of Dealabs rarely misses when it comes to dates. According to their information, Forza Horizon 6 is now scheduled to release on PS5 on the 26th of January 2027, missing the previously announced 2026 release window by several weeks.
Beyond the date, they also have pricing, confirming that the PS5 port will launch at £59.99 in the UK, or €69.99 in Europe. However, details about a Premium or Deluxe edition are currently unknown. Chances are, Forza Horizon 6 will launch with the same number of ‘editions' as the Xbox version of the game, as has been the case with Xbox's other PS5 ports so far.
Ultimately, Forza Horizon 6 will still land on PS5 within the current fiscal year.
KitGuru Says: Xbox went out of their way to shoot down the previous delay rumour, a decision that now looks pretty silly in hindsight.
