Perfect Dark gameplay footage leaks

The Perfect Dark reboot was unfortunately cancelled before any of us got to see the game in action. With the game now dead and the studio behind it disbanded, we are starting to see some leaks, including the first ‘real' gameplay footage.

MP1st has shared the first footage of Perfect Dark ‘running'. While the footage shown is in-engine, it is primarily a reel of visual effect features and asset work from an artist, rather than proper gameplay.

We have no idea how far along Perfect Dark was when it was cancelled, but most reports indicate that the game still had years of development left before it would be released. While the last trailer released for the game had segments that looked like gameplay, it appeared to be to be scripted.

At this point, Xbox has thrown its money at a different espionage game entirely, PHYSINT, the next game from Kojima Productions.
