BenQ's gaming brand Zowie has announced the FK1-DW and ZA12-DW wireless gaming mice. Both symmetrical models weigh 55g and feature a 4K polling rate alongside an updated shell design.
According to TechPowerUp, the large FK1-DW features a lower profile while the medium-sized ZA12-DW sits a bit taller, better suited to large hands. Currently, both peripherals are only available in a white colour option.
Technical specifications listed in the product description confirm a 4K polling rate, bringing a significant improvement over standard 1000Hz mice, but without the battery life penalty of a full-spec 8K mouse. Each mouse ships with a receiver that doubles as a charging dock for the mouse.
Regional availability begins at the end of July for European buyers purchasing directly from Zowie, followed by an Amazon launch in September. US retail availability starts in August via the official Zowie store and hits Amazon in September.
KitGuru says: Zowie fans have waited a long time for new, larger wireless options. The cherry on top is the added 4K polling rate and a charging dock receiver.
