Nexus 7 dock appears on Google Play

Well it looks like the wait is over. The official Nexus 7 docking station is now available for sale on Google Play.

ASUS build the 7 inch tablet for Google and they showcased the dock at CES, earlier this year. Earlier speculation was that the dock would be available in January, however that never transpired.

The dock enables the tablet to be set in landscape orientation at a comfortable viewing angle while it is being charged through the micro USB port. There is also a 3.5mm audio connector for the connection of external speakers or headphones. Ideal for enjoying the media experience.

The Nexus 7 dock is available on Google's online store in Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, UK and US. Right now you can only buy the dock through Google Play, for the time being anyway.

Kitguru says: The dock should sell well for this popular little tablet.
