Halo Reach leaks banning consoles from Xbox Live

Halo Reach on Xbox 360 has leaked a while ago and many people are downloading it from Bitorrent to play on their Xbox 360 consoles. Fudzilla have reported that their sources are telling them that some small retailers are selling the game earlier, breaking release date.

Microsoft are still saying the game will be officially released on September the 14th and this doesn't look to be changing – even though some small stores are apparently selling it already. According to forum reports gamers who are playing the game early are getting banned from Xbox live and unless you are playing it offline there is a good chance it could happen to you also. We might also see Microsoft taking action against small retailers if the reports about copies being sold already are factual.

  1. Seems harsh to be banning people if they bought it in a store?! surely they can trace the offending stores and fine them?
