Halo Infinite co-op campaign beta delayed by last minute bugs

Last week, 343 made it known that the team is planning to go live with a campaign co-op beta test for Halo Infinite soon. Initially, the target was to go live with the beta on the 11th of July. As the clock ticked down to the final minutes, 343 confirmed that the beta still needs work and won't be going live just yet.

In an update posted yesterday evening, 343 Community Manager, Brian Jarrard, explained that flighting is a fluid process and that one of the teams found some last minute issues that needed to be resolved before the team could open the doors to public tests.

343 is still targeting to go live with the campaign co-op flight test sometime this week, so if you are a Halo Insider member, then be sure to keep an eye on your emails for an invite. If you haven't already signed up to the Insider program, then you won't be considered for this current flight, but you will be considered for future tests.

Once online campaign co-op is out of the way, 343 will turn its attention to local co-op, and then later this year, we'll also get the Forge update, bringing in some of the most requested features missing at launch.

KitGuru Says: Many won't consider Halo Infinite's campaign mode to be complete until co-op is available. While 343 is at it, we could also do with mission replay. Once these features and Forge mode are finally in place, perhaps we'll finally start to see some positivity around Infinite.
