AMD seemingly confirms Ryzen 7000 launch line-up

In an update to one of its websites this week, AMD may have mistakenly revealed the launch line-up for the Ryzen 7000 series. AMD's next-generation desktop processors are due to launch before the end of this year, and it looks like we'll have four processors at launch, including the Ryzen 9 7950X, 7900X, Ryzen 7 7700X and Ryzen 5 7600X.

According to VideoCardz, tags in Ryzen Pro marketing material revealed the Ryzen 9 7950X, 7900X, Ryzen 7 7700X and Ryzen 5 7600X. Surprisingly, the Ryzen 7 7800X wasn't listed, despite previous rumours claiming it will be available at launch. It looks like we may be getting a Ryzen 7 7700X instead, at least for the time being.

Unfortunately, the listings didn't reveal any details about the processors and at this point, there haven't been many leaks either.

AMD has plans to launch the Ryzen 7000 series processors, and new Socket AM5 motherboards later this year. Some rumours indicate that launch could come around as early as mid September.

KitGuru says: There may just be four processors to start with, but we would expect to see more Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 5 SKUs in the months after launch, as well as new Ryzen 3 processors.
