As reported and collated by FutureGameReleases, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 has now leaked ahead of time, offering nearly a dozen details and changes fans can expect when the new Season drops most likely at some point this week (following the conclusion of Chapter 4 Season 1 on the 8th of March).

We have already reported on the fact that the next Season of Fortnite will bring with it the long-rumoured first-person mode. Many more details have since leaked, claiming that the Season will be called “MEGA” and that it will be inspired by a futuristic neo-Tokyo / Japan. In terms of new locations, the Fortnite island will see the addition of a Neo-Tokyo point of interest as well as a Lucky Landing V2 POI.

Of course, the new Season will also introduce new weapons in the form of Katanas and swords while also adding additional weapons from pre-existing categories such as a new Shotgun and Pistol.

The final few details known so far includes the addition of futuristic motorbikes, “glowing tubes you slide on as mobility while holding your weapon” as well as “Legendary augments that reboot you when you die, increase your max shield or give you siphon.”

We have seen live-service titles shutting down left and right, yet Fortnite remains as strong as ever – undoubtedly aided by the sheer amount of new content introduced each Season. It will be interesting to see what else is new when Fortnite Chapter 4 Season2 is officially announced.

Now, a case of incredibly poor communication and a poorly thought-out plan from the game's publisher, Sony, has put Helldivers 2 in jeopardy, with the game being removed from over 170 countries.
