Thermaltake reveals the ToughAir 710 dual-tower CPU cooler

Thermaltake is expanding its CPU cooler lineup with the new dual-tower ToughAir 710. Packing two 140mm fans, seven heat pipes, and a large dissipation area, Thermaltake's new high-end air CPU cooler looks very promising.

Designed for the latest Intel and AMD CPUs, the Thermaltake ToughAir 710 comes in a dual-tower design with two 140mm fans in a push-pull configuration. With RPM ranging between 500 and 1400, these fans are rated to provide an airflow of up to 81.96 CFM and a static pressure of 1.81 mmH2O with a peak noise level of 23.9 dBA. Alternatively, you can use the low noise adapter to reduce maximum operating noise to 18.5 dBA, decreasing fan speed to 300-1,100 RPM, limiting maximum airflow to 65.03 CFM and static pressure to 1.3 mmH2O. The fans' lifetime is estimated at 40,000 hours.

The first component of the cooler to get heated by the CPU is the copper base with anti-corrosive nickel plating. The heat is then transferred to seven U-shaped heat pipes connected to two large aluminium heatsinks featuring an asymmetric fin structure. According to the company, the ToughAir 710 can handle up to 250W thermal loads, exceeding all previous ToughAir CPU coolers.

The ToughAir 710 is compatible with Intel LGA 2066/2011/2011-3/1700/1200/1156/1155/1151/1150 and AMD AM5 and AM4 sockets. Pricing and availability are unknown at the moment.
