Switch version of Hi-Fi Rush rated by PEGI

Earlier this year, leaks and rumours sprung up suggesting that the Xbox console exclusive Hi-Fi Rush would be coming to more platforms, specifically PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Of course, Microsoft did wind up announcing that Hi-Fi Rush was coming to more platforms – though only PS5. One month on from the PlayStation release, it seems Hi-Fi Rush might be coming to the Switch after all.

Following leaks and datamines which suggested that Tango Gameworks’ rhythm-based action title Hi-Fi Rush would be coming to PlayStation and Nintendo systems, Microsoft announced and subsequently released the game onto PS5 – with no Switch version in sight.

Following this, Insider Gaming claimed that Hi-Fi Rush will be skipping the Switch, instead coming to the Switch 2 when it eventually releases.

It appears as though the porting team have managed to get it working well on the Switch now, as the PEGI (Pan European Game Information) ratings board have now added a listing for a Switch version of Hi-Fi Rush.

Weirdly enough, PEGI have only just added the PS5 version to its website – so perhaps there is more going on here than it initially seems. We will have to wait and see.

KitGuru says: What do you think of this update? Does this mean a Switch version is coming? Or have PEGI just made a blunder? Let us know your thoughts down below.
