Amazon’s Fallout series to last ‘five to six’ seasons

Nowadays, there is no telling if or when your favourite show might get cancelled. Fallout fans may be able to shed that concern though, as one lead actor has confirmed a plan for around five or six seasons. 

Aaron Moten, who plays Maximus in the Fallout TV series, recently spoke at Comic Con Liverpool (via Eurogamer), saying that when he signed on to do the show, he was given an estimate of around five or six seasons, adding that the show creators always aimed to take their time with character development and arcs.

“When I signed on to do the series, we would have a starting point, and they gave me the end point. That endpoint hasn't changed, but it is season five, season six, type of endpoint. We've always known that we're going to take our time with the development of the characters.”

Of course, it is worth pointing out that many shows begin with a multi-season plan, but that doesn't always save them from cancellation. As an example, Netflix's Witcher series was originally going to continue for more seasons, but as popularity dropped after season 2, Netflix made the decision to wrap things up with the fourth season.

Recently, the stars of the Fallout series confirmed that filming had finished up on the second season. The first season spent a year in editing before release, so we could be looking at a similar timeline for the next season.
