Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection confirmed for September release

The Mortal Kombat Legacy Collection is launching sooner than anticipated. Thanks to a leak via the Xbox store, the game is confirmed to be releasing in September. The official announcement was due to come this Friday during Sony's EVO USA fighting game tournament.

The Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, like the name implies, is a collection of the classic Mortal Kombat games from the older eras, including Mortal Kombat 1, 2, 3 and 4.

The Kollection has been reworked to tell a complete timeline of the original series' story, with comprehensive character histories included.

The games will all include online multiplayer as well, complete with rollback netcode, giving fighting game fans the precision they need.
