Capcom COO hints at future plans for Pragmata following successful launch

Capcom launched Pragmata last month to very positive reviews. The publisher has been very happy with the game's performance so far, with executives indicating that Pragmata will now become one of Capcom's main active IP.

Capcom has launched many IP over the decades but only a few see much focus at any given time. In recent years, the publisher has primarily focused on Resident Evil, Devil May Cry and Monster Hunter, with more experimental releases like Dragon's Dogma 2, Exoprimal and Pragmata sprinkled in.

While Exoprimal didn't quite live up to the mark and is unlikely to see future games, the same can't be said for Pragmata. As reported by Game File, Rob Dyer, Capcom USA's Chief Operating Officer, recently said that Pragmata will see future releases following its successful launch:

“They took feedback and it was worth the effort. We're to a point now where we've got another IP that we can continue to go down”.

KitGuru Says: Capcom has added a Sci-Fi IP to its roster. Now the question is, when will Pragmata 2 arrive?
