Epomaker has officially launched the Nex Pro wireless ergonomic gaming mouse. Priced at $79.99, the new right-handed asymmetric mouse features PixArt's PAW3950 optical sensor, tri-mode connectivity and it ships with a magnetic charging dock, which we don't normally see in the sub-$100 price bracket.
Measuring 122mm in length and weighing 65g, the Nex Pro mouse features an asymmetric right-handed ABS shell designed to provide full palm support. Moreover, it uses a PixArt PAW3950 optical sensor, supporting up to 42K DPI, 750 IPS tracking speed, and 50G acceleration. The sensor is paired with a Nordic 54L MCU that allows users to enable 8000Hz polling.
Connectivity options cover three operation modes, allowing users to switch between 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, and wired USB connections. The package bundles a magnetic charging dock that also houses the 2.4GHz wireless receiver. Placing the mouse on the dock initiates magnetic recharging, and removing it activates 2.4GHz mode.
Customisation is handled entirely via an online web portal rather than downloaded software. Users can configure parameters, including DPI, polling rate, lift-off distance, and angle snapping, directly inside a standard browser. Macro recording and button remapping are also supported through this web utility to maintain configuration consistency across different PCs.
KitGuru says: The PAW3950 sensor and included magnetic dock should make the Epomaker Nex Pro a competitive option for its price tier.
