Nintendo Direct returns tomorrow focused on Fire Emblem

Details on the next Nintendo Direct stream have been revealed. Nintendo has announced plans to hold a dedicated showcase for upcoming Switch 2 exclusive Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.

The announcement was made today through Nintendo's own news app for smartphones. The stream will be happening tomorrow, starting at 2PM BST. The stream promises an extended 20-minute look at gameplay.

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave has a bit more potential for broad appeal compared to the previous release, Fire Emblem Engage. Fire Emblem Engage was structured a bit closer to a typical Fire Emblem title, while Fortune's Weave is more of a spiritual successor to Fire Emblem: Three Houses, which offered a hugely successful reinvention of story delivery for the series.

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave will be releasing for Nintendo Switch 2 consoles later this year. A final release date is expected to be confirmed during tomorrow's Direct stream.

KitGuru Says: I'm a Fire Emblem fan, so I'll be looking forward to this but the September-November timeframe is looking awfully busy already.
