Razer is introducing the Prio, a foldable USB‑C mobile gaming controller for iOS and Android. The design folds into a compact form factor and opens into a full‑sized layout, using capacitive analogue thumbsticks to help reduce drift.
When folded, the Prio controller measures 107×67×23mm and weighs 101g. It supports smartphones with screens up to 7 inches, including the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Physical controls include low‑profile thumbsticks, a tactile 4‑way D‑pad, face buttons, bumpers and triggers. Razer says the capacitive thumbsticks use contactless sensing to reduce wear.
The controller works with iOS 18 and Android 14 or later and supports Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam Link, PS Remote Play and Razer PC Remote Play. A dedicated Cortex button opens your game library through the Razer Cortex Mobile app.
Direct USB‑C connectivity provides low‑latency input without requiring wireless pairing or battery charging. The frame fits around most slim and medium phone cases. The Razer Prio is available now for £99.99/€109.99/$99.99.
KitGuru says: Razer’s foldable approach keeps things pocket‑friendly, but the real test will be how it feels compared to a standard mobile pad.
