Persona 6 revealed during Nintendo Direct

Just as promised, Nintendo held a second Direct stream today announcing many more games coming to the Switch 2 soon, well beyond Zelda. One of the bigger parts of today's show included back to back trailers for Persona, ending with a teaser for Persona 6.

Towards the end of today's Nintendo Direct, we got two new trailers for upcoming Persona titles. Firstly, Persona 4 Revival was announced, coming to the Switch 2 on the 20th of May next year:

Persona 4 Revival is a complete remake of Persona 4 Golden, which prior to Persona 5, was widely considered to be the best game in the series. While the remake does look great, I'm a lot more interested in the plan for Persona 6 at this point with it having been so long.

The good news there is that there was a trailer for Persona 6:

The downside is that it is just a short logo teaser, with no other information given. Presumably though, this does mean that Persona 6 will be available on Switch 2 systems at launch, alongside the PC, Xbox and PlayStation versions. There is no official word on when Persona 6 will actually come out, but late 2027 / early 2028 sounds like a sensible timeframe.
