Kojima reveals protagonist for PHYSINT

A week on from Kojima's announcement that PHYSINT would be moving to Xbox, Kojima Productions has now revealed one of its main cast members for the game, Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård.

Over the course of creating the Metal Gear Solid series, Kojima became well known for his cinematic flair. He took this up a notch with Death Stranding and Death Stranding 2, casting widely known actors in leading roles. This practise will continue with PHYSINT, Kojima's return to the tactical espionage genre.

Bill Skarsgård will be playing the protagonist role in PHYSINT. Speaking on the announcement Kojima said “we are both long-time fans of each other's work and we've decided to embark on this new adventure together”. Kojima Productions has already done the foundational work of scanning, costume fittings and camera tests for both Skarsgård and the only other confirmed cast member, Charlee Fraser.

Bill Skarsgård is a Swedish actor known for appearances as Pennywise in IT, as well as roles in Lords of War opposite Nicolas Cage, and The Death of Robin Hood with Hugh Jackman.

KitGuru Says: As interesting as casting is, it's hard for me to get excited right now without knowing anything about the game itself. Hopefully in a couple of years, we'll finally be seeing gameplay.
