This week Philips Evnia is bringing 5th Gen QD-OLED technology to its ultrawide monitor lineup with the new 34M2C8600P gaming monitor, offering 3440×1440 resolution at up to 280Hz.
The Evnia 34M2C8600P features a 34-inch, 21:9, 5th Gen QD-OLED panel that combines self-illuminating pixels with an Anti-Reflection coating and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. The display covers 99.3% of the DCI-P3 colour space and supports 1.07 billion (10-bit) colours, delivering smooth colour transitions across games, movies, and creative applications, while Anti-Reflection reduces distracting reflections in brighter rooms.
Adaptive Sync is present to reduce visible screen tearing and stutter when frame rates change. The monitor will work well for both gaming PCs and consoles too, thanks to the inclusion of two HDMI 2.1 ports, alongside a DisplayPort 1.4 connection.
The Philips Evnia 34M2C8600P will be available for purchase starting in October, priced around £779.
